Ciplox 750 Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.

Ciplox 750 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.

Consuming alcohol with Ciplox 750 Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.

Pregnancy - CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Ciplox 750 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding - SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Driving - UNSAFE

Kidney - CAUTION

Ciplox 750 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ciplox 750 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver - SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

  • Ciplox 750 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Ciplox 750 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
     
  • Inform your doctor if you develop any signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools while taking this medicine.

WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE CIPLOX TABLET?

If you miss a dose of Ciplox 750 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
