What are the Easiest Scholarships to Get?

The whole scholarship process, from looking for one to applying and actually getting it, can be tedious and difficult. As if that wasn't enough, it seems that most scholarships have a lot of requirements that make the application process even harder. 

Aside from attaching your transcripts, you have to list down your accomplishments or write an essay explaining what you deserve to get the scholarship or what it can help you achieve. 

While GIIS offers scholarship options, it is a good idea to know about other scholarships you could apply for? There are. These scholarships have simple applications with minimal writing and are open to anyone with winners chosen at random.

  1. The Coca Cola Scholarship Program 

This is a $20000 scholarship offered by Coca-Cola to high school students. However, children or grandchildren of anyone working at Coca-cola bottling companies or other subsidiaries are ineligible. To apply, all you need is to fill an application form. If you are awarded this scholarship for school, you have anywhere between 4 to 10 years to use it. You can even opt to defer all or part of the award within 10 years. Aside from tuition, you can use the money for other expenses such as food, housing, books, or computers. 

  1. $2000 No Essay scholarship

This scholarship by Niche awards $2000 every month to the winner and is open to all high school and college students. As the name suggests, you don't have to write an essay or have a high GPA score to qualify. You simply create an account and fill out a form. Since this is a monthly draw deadlines are at the end of the month, and winners are notified 2 weeks after the draw.

  1. UNIGO scholarships 

UNIGO is a scholarship resource website that helps students find the best scholarships for them. They also offer various easy scholarships to help you with your education, such as the $10K scholarship that offers $10000 to students. Other awards include the I have a dream scholarship that awards $1500 to the person with the best answer to 'what's your dream' question. The sweet and simple scholarships that also awards $1500 and the Superpower scholarship that awards $2500. You do have to write a short essay (250 words or less) in response to the question posed and you also have to be a US resident, 14 years or older to be eligible. 

  1. $10000 CollegeXpress Scholarship contest 

This award from CollegeXpress, sponsored by Carnegie Dartlet gives away $10000 each year to one lucky student. To apply, you have to sign up for a free account on their website. Your registration automatically enters you into the draw to win the scholarship money. It is open to college freshmen, graduate and transfer students in all participating institutions. You can find a list of participating institutions on their website. They also have a $500 refer a friend contest that awards $500 to you if someone uses your referral link to create a CollegeXpress account. There's no limit of the entries you can have meaning you stand to win multiple times.

  1. $1000 You Deserve It scholarship 

This is a favourite among the easy-to-get scholarships. This scholarship sweepstake offered by ScholarshipOwl allows learners to apply for a chance to win a scholarship to be paid by ScholarshipOwl to the high school, college or university you want to attend. This means it is open to all students; however, they must be US citizens, 16 years or older and be enrolled or will enrol in school in three months.

  1. Be Bold, no-essay Scholarship

This is a yearly scholarship that awards $10000 to any students at any education level for being bold. As they say, luck favours the bold, and this is the philosophy behind this award from Bold.com. Designed for anyone who doesn't take no for an answer, the earnest achiever and the risk-taker, this is a great choice if you fit the bill. To apply, sign up at Bold.com and create a bold profile; the applicant with the boldest profile wins.

  1. Create-a-greeting Card scholarship

This $10000 award is given yearly and allows you to put your creative and crafting skills to use. Sponsored by The Gallery Collection, you are required to create a greeting card to apply. The judging criteria for the winner will depend on factors such as the overall aesthetic appeal; execution, creativity and originality; great incorporation of the design elements; the design's suitability and appropriateness for use as a greeting card; allure to consumers of the sponsoring brand.

  1. Doodle for Google

This is another chance to make use of your creativity by creating doodles for Google. What's more, they could feature your design on Google for a day. The main prize is a $30000 award and an additional $50000 Google for Education Technology grant for your school. There are also four $5000 scholarship awards for those who come in second. This scholarship awards $40000 to high performing high schoolers with financial needs looking to attend university. This is a merit-based award meaning candidate selection is based on academic achievement, financial need, and other qualities such as persistence, leadership or desire to help. The awards also vary on a case by case basis. 

  1. Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway

The Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway scholarship is unlike most of the scholarships on this list. First, the award for this giveaway is $100000; that's a lot more than most of what the other scholarships are offering. This yearly giveaway requires you to do a few things such as writing a short essay of how you would change the world, about 350 words or less and get your friends and family to vote for your entry. If you get more than 50 votes, you have to create an inspiring video, and if selected as a finalist, you'll compete in a Big Ten, SEC, PAC-12, or ACC football championship game.

While this list includes easy scholarships to apply to, your scholarship search shouldn't end here. There are a ton of scholarships available, and just because one isn't here, it doesn't mean it's hard to apply for. Most of these scholarships are sweepstakes so remember to read the scholarship guidelines carefully because even though these scholarships are easy, not everyone is eligible. Even with this list of the easiest scholarships to get, finding the right fit and filling out all these applications takes time, but it's worth all the effort in the end.
