Visa not required

  • As the name suggests you do not need any Visa as an Indian Passport Holder.
  • Just show the passport at the immigration counter and enter the country. Some countries will stamp the passport and some wont.

  • You will get a Visa when you arrive at the country usually the international airports without paying.
  • In most cases the Visa will be given directly by the immigration officer. S/he will just stamp your passport with a Visa without any fee

Paid Visa on Arrival for Indian Passport Holder

  • This is usually a paid Visa but you can get it when you arrive to the county .
  • Most countries have a separate section/place (usually  near the immigration counters) to get the Visa first (after paying the fee) and then you need to proceed for immigration.

E-Visa

  • This mean you can apply for a Visa electronically.
  • Here you typically submit your application/documents online and the Visa is issued. In most of the cases there will be a fee for E-Visa . Some countries also have appointed agents for E-Visa’s ( please be careful of scammers)

  • Some countries issue visa on arrival if you have visa or residency permit of some other nation .
  • This is common if you have existing Visa from US, UK etc . For example NRI’s living in Singapore get visa on arrival in Philippines (because they have a valid Singapore visa)
Please note that some countries may have other additional requirements such as certificate of vaccination etc needed for Visa on Arrival. Also ensure that you have sufficient blank pages on your passport ( usually minimum 2 blank pages) and minimum 6 months validity of your passport.
