Indian Air Force AFCAT 02/2025 – Short Service Commission for Flying and Ground Operations

1. Regarding Enrollment
The Indian Air Force (IAF) accepts applications for SSC in Flying, Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical), and NCC Special Entry via AFCAT 02/2025.

2. Dates to Keep in Mind
The notification will be released on September 1, 2025.

Starting September 1, 2025: Online Application Begins

The application deadline is October 30, 2025.

The date of the exam is January 2026.

3. Eligibility Requirements
A B. Tech or 10+2 with at least 60% in Physics/Mathematics is required to graduate from the Flying Branch.

Ground Duty (Tech): B. Tech in the relevant area.

Ground duty (non-technical) is what graduation is thought to be.

For flying, 20 to 24 years old; for ground duty, 20 to 26 years old.

5. Compensation System
Flying Branch: ₹85,372 (approximately total monthly)

Ground Duty: ₹71,550 (approximately monthly gross)
