Shopping Guide For Ready Made Panels

Take time for your window treatment to choose the best style. Like most do-it-yourself projects, you too have the intention of saving a great deal of money on a professional interior designer when you did it yourself. To get you there, I'm going to share some business tricks. Prepared curtain panels are an excellent choice for custom draperies. Why don't you have to pay hundreds of thousands.

Be sure to read articles 1 and 2 of this series to provide you with all the information you need before you buy the curtains. The right size and design for the theme of your room would be improved by this. The last thing you want to do is time your busy schedule, after installeding the hardware, to swap the wrong curtains for the correct duration.

Three cheap designer tricks take your curtains from usual to exceptional. Here are three.

Bring a professional touch to thorough adornments. This approach works for two window curtain panels or one window panel. Each panel has what is called the front side of the panel, not on the wall, near the window. Buy decorative trim including banding or tassels. To patch a half inch from the edge of the lead, either the hand stitch or the iron fabric bonding tape. A stitch of the sewing machine is not recommended because thread seams appear on the back of the leading edge. Choose a trim color that suits curtain color and other room features.

Purchase panels four or five inches or so longer and fold the header in the direction of the front for further embellishment of the ribs. On the folded part, ring clips can be mounted. Apply trim, half an inch from edge, around the header. This gives you a wonderful look at least effortlessly.

Extend the height of the ceiling to a greater effect. Note how little drapery is even in the window frame in designer magazines? The rod is typically higher than the structure. If necessary, positioning the rod 6, 12, or 15" above the frame provides a sense of space. Nail brackets on top of the frame.

If the wall space makes you, on the other hand, to install the brackets, measuring 6 to 12 inches from the outside window frame, this would make the windows more illuminated and visually expanded.

To patch a half an inch from the front edge and reveal the fabric, either hand stitch or a woven bond. A sewing machine seam is not recommended as thread seams are seen on the back of the front. Choose a coupling color that suits the colors of the rims and other room features.
