Restart your device

Sometimes, your running program or some runtime error can interrupt your update process. Whenever you get the Windows update error then you should restart your device. Check your internet connection

Free your disk space

8. A black box with a blinking cursor (command screen) will appear 
9. Type cleanmgr on the command screen

Press the Enter button and the disk cleanup dialog box will appear. You will get a list of all the installed items on your device. Check all the programs one by one and then click on the boxes you want to delete. Then hit the Ok button. Make sure you have checked the temporary files box. Once you remove all the junk from your device then restart your PC. Go to Update and Security. Update your Windows 10 device.
