Recipe of Hainanese Chicken Rice

This dish has it’s origin from China but is famous in Singapore these days and it is also famous in the other parts of the Asian continents. The dish is named after a place in China. It is made of chicken and rice mix. It is now considered as a main course food in the world.


Ingredients & Recipe of Hainanese Chicken Rice

Ingredients:

For Chicken

  1. Whole Chicken
  2. Rock Salt for cleaning
  3. Some rice wine
  4. Some chicken broth
  5. 2 peeled shallots
  6. Smashed garlic
  7. Ginger roots
  8. Lemon grass
  9. Peppercorns
  10. Salt

For Rice

  1. Large rice
  2. Chicken broth

For Sauce

  1. Peanut oil
  2. Ginger
  3. Chopped scallions

Recipe Process:

First of all, apply the rock salt on chicken all over multiple times unless it is properly clean. Then put it into a big container and add some rice wine and chicken broth to dip the whole chicken in it and then boil it for some time and then lower the flame. Now add the other ingredients like, shallots, garlic, ginger, lemon grass, peppercorns and salt if needed. Then let it heat up for some time unless it starts simmering. Then switch of the burner and let it steamed inside for next 10 minutes. Till the time chicken sets on the normal temperature.

Meanwhile add some chicken broth and water with rice and keep it on flame till it gets fluffy. After this mix the chicken with rice. And serve it with the sauces as per the taste.
