Dayara Bugyal is known to be the most stunning of all the Uttarakhand treks. The hike takes us to a highland meadow in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district, which stands at an elevation of 10,000-12,500 feet. This lush green expanse of meadows, which spans 28 square kilometres, is a great place to go skiing in the winter. This stunning place is surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains. Catch a glimpse of the lake of Barnala Tal strewn over the green alpine prairies– in whose reflection the peaks seem much more beautiful– when on this unforgettable Himalayan Dayara Bugyal trekking tour in Uttarkhand, India.

 Dayara Bugyal Trek

The trek begins in the small hamlet of Barsu, 32 kilometres from Uttarkashi, on the Haridwar-Gangothri route. In Barsu, one can stay in either of the rest-houses or GMVN houses that overlook the beautiful valley on one side and the snow-capped mountains on the other.

The Dayara Bugyal Trek takes you through beautiful Oak trees, simple water sources, and sprawling grasslands, with views of hut specks, grazing cattle, and views of the valley and high-rise mountains. About the lakes and brooks that pass through the pastures, wildflowers bloom.
