How to Mark the Important Questions From CA Foundation Previous Year Question Papers?

Go through the 5-year ICAI CA Foundation exam question papers and try to identify the questions which have been frequently asked. You can mark them as important.

You should also know your updated syllabus and avoid question-related to that topic from previous year question paper for CA Foundation.

What Else Can I Know From CA Foundation Question Papers

You can know the pattern of the exam from your CA Foundation course question papers?

For eg-

CA Foundation of Principle and Practice of Accounting Question Paper of Nov 2018

From previous attempt question paper, we came to know that

• There will be a total of 6 questions.

• Out of 6 questions, only 5 need to be answered, where question 1 is going to be compulsory.

• Every question carries 20 marks for 100 marks in total.

• You will get 3 hours to solve the CA Foundation accounting question paper.

• The theoretical part is mainly true and false or define and is not more than 20 marks.

• The remaining practical part is lengthy and needs to be answered under 2-3 subdivision.

• Answers have to be written in the language whichever was opted during registration.

CA Foundation Business Law and Business Correspondence and Reporting Question Paper

From previous attempt question paper, we came to know that

• There will be a total of 11 questions.

• Section A business Law will have 6 questions and section B  Business correspondence and reporting will have 5 questions

• In section A Out of 6 questions, only 5 need to be answered, where question 1 is going to be compulsory.

• In section B Out of 5 questions, only 4 need to be answered, where the first question is going to be compulsory.

• Every question carries 12 marks in section A and will be for 60 marks in total.

• Every question carries 10 marks in section B and will be for 40 marks in total.

• You will get 3 hours to solve the CA Foundation law question paper.

• The theoretical part is mainly true and false or Answers have to be written in the language whichever was opted during registration for section A where section B will be compulsorily given in the English language.

Since the paper 3  and Paper 4 of CA foundation course is objective, you get a question paper with MCQ which needed to be answered through the OMR sheet. Both question paper and OMR answer sheet are submitted after completion of the test.

It is hard to get the previous year question paper for these 2 subjects.

But you can start preparing for their exams with the help of Mock Test Paper and some good website like MCC that take the periodical test for such subjects.

Still to understand the exam pattern for paper 3 and 4 you can use the Mock Test Paper issued by ICAI to know the CA Foundation exam pattern.

CA Foundation Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning and Statistics Question Paper

• The paper is divided into 3 parts.

• Part A is Business Mathematics and Part  B is Logical Reasoning and Part C is Statistics.

• Part A is for 40 marks, part B is for 20 marks and part C is for 40 marks.

• There would be a total of 100 questions of 1 mark each.

• Every right answer will get you 1 mark and the wrong answer will deduct ¼ marks from your total score.

• You are allowed to use a calculator in this exam.

• The exam is for 2 hours.

CA Foundation Business Economics and Commercial Knowledge Question Paper
 

• The paper is divided into 2 sections.

• Section  A is Business Economics and section B is Business and Commercial Knowledge.

• Part A is for 60 marks and part B is for 40 marks.

• There would be total 100 questions of 1 mark each.

• Every right answer will get you 1 mark and the wrong answer will deduct ¼ marks from your total score.

• The exam is for 2 hours.

Previous year CA Foundation question papers just help for guiding you in your preparation strategy. Totally depending on these question is not a good way to prepare for exams.
