In more modern times, purpose-built AFVs such as the U.S. M1133 Medical Evacuation Vehicle used as an armoured medical vehicle. Army Jeep

The Jonga was an army jeep and designed by a manufacturer, which was formerly used by the Indian Army. This army jeep manufactured by the Vehicle Factory Jabalpur and was an acronym for Jabalpur Ordnance aNd Guncarriage Assembly. It was produced for the Indian Army under a license granted by the manufacturer in 1965.
