Medical aspirants appearing for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be required to follow specific NEET 2020 dress code laid down by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

NEET Dress Code for Males

The authority has decided the dress code for males as well as females. The below mentioned are the rules for the dress code of males:

  • The candidate should wear clothes having half sleeves. The full sleeve shirts etc are not allowed.

  • The clothes having zip, pockets, zip pockets, big buttons and large embroidery will not be allowed inside the exam hall.

  • The candidates are advised to wear trousers and simple pants.

  • No applicant should not wear Kurta Pyjama.

  • This is to be noted that the shoes inside the exam hall are strictly prohibited. The candidate should wear slippers having thin sole.

NEET Dress Code for Females

  • The candidate should not wear clothes having embroidery, flowers, brooches/ buttons.

  • The clothes having full sleeves should not be worn by the candidate. The females should wear half-sleeve clothes.

  • The candidate can wear low heel footwear, slippers or sandals having thin soles. Any footwear having thick soles will not be allowed inside the exam hall under any circumstances.

  • The applicant should avoid any kind of jewellery so as to avoid unnecessary hassle from metal detectors.

Religious Dress Code for NEET

The candidates, who follow the kind of religion in which a certain dress code is must will have to make sure to reach the exam centre an hour before the commencement of the exam. This is to be noted that the candidate will be able to carry burkha, hijab, kirpan etc to the exam centre.

What else is to be Carried to the NEET Exam Centre?

The candidate will have to carry certain things to the centre of the exam. Without the same, the candidate will not be allowed to take the examination. The following points explain about the documents that are to be carried to the centre of the exam:

  • Admit card:

The hall ticket is one of the most important documents that is to be carried to the exam centre. If the candidate forgets to carry the admit card, then he/ she will not be allowed to take the exam. The admit card will be carrying many details on it. The candidate will have to make sure that all the details in the hall ticket are correct. In case of any kind of discrepancy, the candidate must immediately contact the concerned authority. The admit card will get released on the official website of the authority.   • ID Card:
