4. In case you are not signed in, then you need to click on the Sign-in button located at the upper right-hand edge of the screen, type the login credentials of your Yahoo account and then click on Sign in. 
5. Now, you need to click on your username. It is available at the upper right corner of the page. 
6. From the pull-down menu, select Account Info. This option is available below your email address. 
7. In the personal info screen, click on Account security. This option is available in the left pane.

   1. Login Email ID or mobile number for your Yahoo account. 
   2. Recovery  mobile number

8. However, in case you are entering a recovery email ID, then you need to ensure that it is the same one that was registered with your Yahoo Mail account. 
9. Now, click on the blue-colored Continue button at the bottom. 
10. After that,  you need to click on Yes, text me an account key. This account key will be sent to you by Yahoo so they can verify that you own the phone. 
11. In case you cannot access the mobile number you have provided for recovery, then you need to click on I do not have access to this phone. Now, click on Start over and type the recovery email ID. 
12. Depending on whether you opted for text or email, open either the Messages app or the inbox. 
13. You will find an email or text from Yahoo. This message will contain a 6 characters long code. 
14. Input the account recovery code in the box given below Verify that you have this phone. 
15. After that, click on the Verify button. 
16. Now, you need to click on the Continue button. You can now review the Yahoo account information as well. After doing so you can access your account. 

How to Reset Forgotten Yahoo Password on Mobile Phones

   3. Account recovery email address. 
8. Make sure that you input the correct details. 
9. But, in case the user is providing a recovery email address, then they need to make sure that it is the same as the one that they provided at the time of account creation. 
10. Now, you need to tap on the blue Continue button present at the bottom of the display. 
11. After that, you have to tap on Yes, text me an account key. This unique account key shall be given to you by Yahoo for the purpose of verification. 
12. In case you cannot access the mobile number that you have given for account recovery,  then you need to tap on I do not have access to this phone. Now, tap on Start over and input your recovery email account. 
13. If you chose text, then open your phone’s MEssage app.
14. If you chose an email, then open the inbox of the alternate email account. 
15. You will get an email message or SMS from Yahoo. This shall contain the account recovery code. 
16. Type the Yahoo account recovery code in the text box provided below Verify that you have this phone. 
17. Then you need to tap on the Verify button. 
18. After that, tap on the Continue button. 
19. In case the user has several accounts to which their mobile number or the email ID is registered, then they will need to tap on an account name instead.
