5.ASHTANGA YOGA INSTITUTE, MYSORE
This popular yoga center offers intensive ashtanga yoga classes throughout the year. The courses range from 1 month to 6 months. It is necessary to apply at least 2 Months in advance to book your place. Although, accommodation is not provided, there are plenty of places to stay nearby.
6.KRISHNAMACHARYA YOGA MANDIRAM, CHENNAI
The foundation of this school was laid in 1976 and it mainly emphasis on Viniyoga which is a form of Hatha yoga. Their programs cover principles, teachings and key aspects of yoga philosophy.
They also offer a special international teacher training program for which one has to dedicate 600+ hours. The Course duration for beginners is around 4 weeks and this program has been named as Heart of Yoga.
